Hello again everybody! Linkd3 here. After some time of working on our "Super Smash Bros. Duel" designs, we finished which characters are playable, non-playable, or just simply appear as an assist trophy. The characters that will appear only as an assist trophy are: Andross ("StarFox" series), Aku ("Samurai Jack" series"), Super Buu ("DragonBall" series"), Izuru Kira ("Bleach" series), Menos Grande ("Bleach" series), Broly ("DragonBall" series), Bardock ("DragonBall" series), Ganju ("Bleach" series), Spencer ("Pokemon Ranger" series), Rio (unknown series), HoroHoro ("Shaman King" series), Roy Mustang ("Full Metal Alchemist" series), Fuuka (unknown series), Hao ("Shaman King" series), Jin ("DemiKids" series), Akira ("DemiKids" series), Yoh ("Shaman King" series), Kid Sasori ("Naruto Shippuden" series), Usopp ("One Piece" series), Kiyo & Zatch ("Zatch Bell" series), Haru Glory (unknown series), and Axel Steel ("Guitar Hero" series). Now as of the actual playable characters, there are now (and finally ended) 225 characters that are playable! Ok, I better stop before I start really ranting on about this topic!
